IDF - Fight For Independence: v0.17 - Release Announcement

Hello friends, we had not orginally intended to create this version of the mod, but we wanted to give our fans something to play with and enjoy while we continue to work on our next big release. IDF:FFI v0.17 is staying with the theme of the 1967 Six Day War. This release is basically a map pack and patch which includes many new maps, new content and fixes. This is a patch so you will need BF2 and IDF:FFI v0.15 to install this patch. Simply extract the contents of the zip file to your BF2 mod folder, choose to replace any files that already exist and enjoy!

In the new version you will find: - 4 New vehicles + new variants of existing vehicles - 4 New weapons including bot controlled artillery & mortars - 28 New maps including dog fighting only versions of some maps - Many code improvements & bug fixes - And many other things - See the changelog file for a full list of changes

We hope you enjoy this version of our mod as we continue to work hard on our next big release, which will be our 1973 Kom Kippur War themed release. We will now go back to showing you regular updates on our progress. This release is just a small sample of the things to come. We still have ALOT of things that we want to achieve with our mod and we appreciate all of our fans patience. I give my thanks and blessing to the many team members and the BF2 community, who brought you the mod to what it is today!
