Dovra
The dovra (English Translation: Barge) was on of the many types of equipment that the Israelis used to cross the Suez canal during the Yom Kippur War. Uni-float barges were leftover from World War II. Israel purchase several uni-float barges from the UK after the Six Day War. They were modified to form motorized barges that could ferry heavy equipment such as tanks. They could also be connected to form a floating bridge.
